Our client wants to build up its worldwide presence in the printing industry. It's a subsidiary of a strong international group. The company is always innovating, very ambitious and the products are technically from a very high level.
Their ambition is to become a TOP 3 player in each core market segment in Europe by 2012.


1.    Challenge and Strategy

Our client wants to speed up its presence and success in the European market. It will therefore expand its current sales structure with an International Sales Executive to ensure growth and success for the future.

2.    The responsibilities of this International Sales Executive are

a.    Achieve or overachieve the order intake & turnover budget as jointly agreed every year
b.    Engage with both new prospects as well as existing customers and the existing dealer network
c.    Grow the existing customer base and pipeline with new customers and opportunities
d.    Expand the reach and footprint in the territory
e.    Take up the responsibility for managing the complete sales cycle
f.    Set up a sales plan and ‘go to market' strategy for the region to ensure growth & success
g.    Understand and help to develop our on the industrial printing market and its different segments
h.    Provide market feedback to the Product Management and Business Development Team
i.    Actively maintain & develop network in the printing industry
j.    Engage & network with other key stakeholders in the market (suppliers, influencers, consultants...) and from other industries (finishing, substrates, workflow...)
k.    Main focus will be Eastern Europe and Spain, including some countries in ROW
l.    Report out on a regular base to the Sales Director Europe and ROW


3.    Qualifications, skills and competencies

a.    Proven sales track record in investment goods in the printing industry
b.    Ability to work as team member, be a good listener, well organized, pay attention to details and meet deadlines
c.    Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
d.    Fluently in English (both spoken & written) and a decent knowledge of German, any other European language is a plus
e.    Willingness to travel up to 60% of your time
